International Trebbia Awards 2019

On Sunday, June 16, the annual and prestigious Trebbia Awards, organized by the Trebbia Foundation, were presented in the Spanish Hall of the Prague Castle for the eighteenth time. The CCPF Czech-Qatar Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the State of Qatar became a partner of the event this year. During the gala evening, which was broadcasted live on Czech and Slovak TV, awards were given to laureates from Switzerland, Japan, Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Australia. Laureates of the Trebbia Award included the legendary Czech singer Karel Gott and the Ukrainian conductor Oksana Lyniv. The event in the Spanish Hall of the Prague Castle was also marked by great singing performances, including Alena Miro and Paulo Ferreira. The gala evening ended with a charity auction of paintings by famous personalities, who are not professional artists, for the sake of the Taťána Kuchařová Foundation - Beauty of Help and the Trebbia Foundation. The President of the CCPF Czech-Qatar Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Vladimír Cnota, said: "We support the Trebbia awards and we have been doing so for several years by now. Due to Qatar's standing as a world art and culture leader, we are currently evaluating its nomination for the next year's award."
